When I watched the 700 Club back in the 90s. They were saying the same thing you guys say today was coming by 2000, with the same haughty “Well I read scriptures and therefore I know!” lines.

The problem is every generation of people saying this love to pretend that there wasnt another group before them, and then get upset when people that notice these things point it out.

They then think copying and pasting a Bible verse and hiding behind it, while painting people that roll their eyes as somehow not really “knowing the Bible” like they do, makes their attempt MORE legit.

Maybe it's time you stop listening to others and do your own research. That's what it took for me. There are some knowledgeable sources out there, but most popular religious organizations drive away more thinking men and women than they draw in.

And yes, if you're a thinking person, what some of these groups espouse doesn't add up. That's a huge turnoff of someone seeking the truth. It was for me. I suggest you avoid the 700 club and instead do your own research. Start simply by reading and researching the scriptures.

Well can't argue with you there regarding the 700 Club. Back in the 90's I did a ton of study - on my own after some guy who I thought was a punk told me if I don't correct my path, I'm going to "hell" and that these are the last days...yadda yadda. At first I gave him the same lip service any normal person would as well. My intent in studying Scripture was to use it against these guys next time it happened. It's funny how God transforms a heart willing to listen....to Him. VDK: Some of us "yahoos" are trying to tell you guys that the building is on fire, and it's going down soon, and that you need to get out while you can (Salvation through Christ). I can post article after article on it and it will always be met with scorn by folks who just dismiss it and believe it's not true. Some of us actually care to show the truth to the anonymous "joe" out there that whatever is happening currently in this world is totally predicted in The Bible (not date setting), and that we can know the "season" of when the proverbial Biblical SWHTF. Nothing about Israel being a country again and having their original Language after 2500 years plus again is "normal". Nothing about mankind's most recent technological advancements over the past 160 years is normal either. Thomas Jefferson couldn't travel any faster than King David could, up until the midway point of the Industrial Revolution. We can tie the mention of those advances in these "end times" Biblically also - Daniel 12:4 (Written 500 years at least before Christ). 👍 on the doing your own research. Best advice on this thread.
