Is Judge David Blackburn a legislature of one?

I am losing (nope, I’ve lost it) hope that anyone in this country understands that laws must be passed by an elected legislature and signed by an elected executive to be legally valid.

Obviously law enforcement is clueless. “Just following orders”. I am rapidly losing interest in defending law enforcement since they/it seem to be uninterested in enforcing REAL laws.

Laws are passed and signed that allow for extraordinary measures in times of declared emergency.

I believe this kind of judge is an elected county chief executive, kind of like a county mayor.

They have a lot of emergency management powers.

Our “County Judges” in Kentucky are no longer judicial positions but are the chief executives of the county...that may be the way it is in Texas as well.
