Is what you posted true? I thought lying to the FBI was a crime. At least that is what I have read on FR.
The justice department said there was no crime so there was nothing material to an investigation that could have been lied about. They avoided the question of whether he actually lied. In order for lying to fbi to be criminal, the lie has to be material.
