There is a point where the federal government MUST step in. But we’re not there yet. People are starting to call for it, but it’s not quite time. It has to be so critical that it’s justified.
There’s also a very good chance that it’ll die out - they’re trying to goad Trump into doing something unconstitutional. He ain’t biting. He is scolding the locals, but he’s not gone that final step. Yet.
From the actions taken today and the FBI also involved he’s already doing something about it.
