I enthusiastically voted for Trump in 2016. I understand his style. He is there to get stuff done, not just kiss ass like politicians always do. He is no politician.
Many people who weren’t sure about him can see now that he is the real deal.
More Millennials have become of voting age and for most of them a candidate can’t be communist enough. We have to get more votes to overcome that. We can’t look back to 2016.
I hope you’re right. But it’s the “independents” that worry me. Why? Because they are wishy-washy and their opinions change with the wind. I know a guy who is a self-described “independent”. About 6 months he was 100% behind Trump. I talked to him about a month ago and now he thinks “we need a change”. He’s now for Biden.

I think, not only will essentially no one vote for Biden that voted for DJT in 16, I think there will be a huge number of blacks and other dems that will either vote for DJT or not vote at all because they’re pissed.

He won in 2016 because the demonrats underestimated the number of fraudulent votes they needed to generate.
Trump not only got more votes than the demonrats, he covered the margin of fraud.

Most people I have posed those question to have said that the second group is much larger than the first (with the first often having "no one" as the answer).

No - but there are a lot of thoroughly brainwashed 18-22 year old Gen Z'ers who were not yet eligible to vote back then, and four more years of conservative seniors have died off. I would not be surprised to see Generic Democrat get more popular votes than in 2016, even if this writer's Electoral College prediction seems far too optimistic for the Democrats.
