What’s the plan for military voters then? For example, my husband (civilian) and I (Navy) are WA residents. I was stationed overseas in Japan for the midterms and I’ll be in the middle of a 6 month school in CT for the general. The last time I voted in-person was 2016. And even we pre-printed ballots and dropped them off in a drop-off box because the polling stations didn’t open until after we both had to be at work.

A challenged ballot is not necessarily rejected. Probably most wouldn’t be, in fact.
