Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney posted a photo of former Vice President Dick Cheney sporting a face mask on Friday and took a shot at the manhood of people who refuse to wear face coverings in a seeming jab at President Donald Trump.
Liz Cheney, the No. 3 House Republican, posted the photo her father as lawmakers push harder for their constituents to wear face masks to limit the spread of coronavirus. Trump has been loath to wear a mask, despite the advice of public health experts. "Dick Cheney says WEAR A MASK. #realmenwearmasks," the younger Cheney tweeted Friday along with a photo of her father wearing a mask.

Not a bit. I voted for Bush-Cheney twice and would gladly do it all over again - they were running against Al Gore and John Kerry.
And if Dick Cheney had run in 2008, perhaps that whole Obama nightmare could have been avoided.
It is unfortunate that mask-wearing has become so politically charged, that the loving daughter of heart-diseased 80 year old man can’t call her father a “real man“ for wearing one - without it being an attack against President Trump.
But that is where we are. Liz Cheney’s comment has already become welcome fodder for the fake news’ never ending strategy of pitting Republican against Republican.
And the saddest part of all? The fact that this familiar fake news ploy works so very well on modern day FReepers, who eagerly soak it up and run with it, much to the delight of the Democrats and the fake news!

I voted for “W” (and his “brain”) twice. I had high expectations. They WERE NOT MET!
I had LOW expectations for his second term and THOSE WERE MET.
I can totally understand your husband’s wearing a mask because of the transplant. My youngest son had cancer surgery last year, and they took out approximately 78 lymph nodes. He also underwent 6 months of chemo treatments. His immune system may be compromised the rest of his life. He hasn’t been able to work since March of 2019, and wears a mask when he goes to the grocery store. He lives in Indiana. I live in New York State. I have problems getting breaths when I have to wear a mask. I have a deviated septum, and my nasal passages are always stuffy, so at times I have to breathe through my mouth, and then of course my glasses fog up. I have gotten headaches, and a scratchy throat from just wearing it a short time, so I make sure my time grocery shopping is as short as possible. I’m 72, and never smoked. It would be interesting to see what my oxygen levels are while wearing a mask. My levels are always good when my doctor checks them.

No. I echo what Enumerated wrote - I would also vote for them again at that time given what we knew at the time.
I did not agree with all of President Bushes decisions or policies. But he was the right president at the time.
