Florida’s Palm Beach County will send every household two reusable masks as part of its greater effort to slow the spread of the Chinese coronavirus and enforce the county’s mask directive, Mayor Kerner (D) announced Friday.
“We want to make sure that every member of this community, no matter where you live, has access to the personal protective equipment that is needed to keep yourself safe and members of the public and community at large safe,” County Mayor Dave Kerner said Friday.
He said he is “pushing the pedal to the metal” on getting the masks into the hands of residents. They will reportedly begin to go out in July, according to the Palm Beach Post.
“If the doctors say we need to load up on [personal protective equipment] then we’re going to get it to them as soon as possible,” Kerner stated.
Palm Beach County commissioners unanimously approved of the ordinance, which went into effect on Thursday.
Per the city:
Facial coverings must be worn by all persons, other than those specifically exempted, while obtaining any good or service or otherwise visiting or working in any business or establishment, including entering, exiting, and otherwise moving around within the establishment. Facial coverings must be worn by all persons in public places where social distancing in accordance with CDC guidelines is not possible or not being practiced.
Individuals under the age of two and those with medical conditions are among those who are not required to wear a face covering. Violators could be subject to fines.
Similarly, the St. Augustine City Commission voted unanimously on Friday to require those in the City of St. Augustine — to wear masks, with a handful of standard exceptions. The order went into effect Saturday. Penalties include a fine of up to $500,

First we must understand liberals are highly motivated by their own self interests. Knowing this the fear generated by the media can be shifted and directed to a selected opponent by the Trump team if done correctly.
President Trump is clearly reluctant with good reason to avoid troops handling the protesters. And so those communities causing the problems must be handled with a divide and conquer plan. Remember again that liberals are very self centered.
Clearly identifying how these rioters are endangering the health in those communities will cause division in those communities. And the loss of support nationally. The media will avoid this and focus on Trump states to gain political advantage but if he can get a task force front centers stage again but with an understanding they are to focus on these protesters, and the threat they face to the general health of their communities. he should be able to direct the fear generated toward the protesters and squelch much of the support they have.

Buy a roll of paper towels at the $$$ $tore...depending on how many sheets on the roll, you can get as many as 140 masks for a buck...they’re just as useless as the masks everyone else is wearing and a hell of a lot less expensive, you can wear the same one two or three times...hang it in the sun and you’re good to go. I wear a mask in order to get into a store, once in I either unhinge one side or I pull it down under my chin, I’m noticing others doing the same, enough of this BS...and yes...I’m in the “over 60” crowd.
My grocery store finally tore up the blue tape arrows from the floor along with the “do not enter” signs at the top and bottom of the aisles....no one was paying any attention to them and no one stands six feet apart at the register any more. People have had enough.

My local store has them going the wrong damned way. The last aisle, with eggs and dairy, directs you to the BACK of the store. Grrrr!

One thing that has irritated me is the stores intentionally designed with an odd number of aisles, causing you to have to travel one twice. Which now gives me no end of glee at these stores trying to design a one-way flow for the aisles. Hmm, we seem to have a crowd in the back left corner of the store.

I’m a never masker living in a mask zone. When I go into a store, it’s without a mask. If they force me to put one on, I humor them but then it comes off.
So check this out. The virus particle size is .03 micron. Wood smoke is about the same particle size. Try this. Put your mask on and light a few matches. Smell the smoke?
I also tried it with a N95 mask. Although much less, I could still smell smoke.
Masks are useless.
Get yourself a cheap Pulse Oxymeter from your local pharmacy. ($15-$30+)
Put it on your finger and check your blood oxygen level.
Now put on your favorite mask, and just breath for a while.
Note your Oxy level after 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes.

brought my Dad to tunnel vision level with sweating and tremors.
Now when he's forced to wear one, we have the kind with
exhalation valves, to reduce CO2 re-breathing.
It's better, but his blood oxy level still drops a few
percent while masked.

Jesus H. Christ. I nominate you for the Olympic Gold Medal in conclusion Jumping. I took your post as a question and just responded that if I had to wear a mask to appease the mask Nazis, I would wear something like that shown, as my way of getting back at them.
There was nothing personal directed at you and I'm a little pist that you think I would make that gesture to anyone on this board.
