I don’t pick up the phone for people I don’t know... especially pollsters. Another area where the phone doesn’t work the way it used to.

Mid- and upper-level players in DC do NOT know real life for the (m)asses. They are far removed from the mundane tasks and realities of our lives.
In Today’s world what Idiot would tell a stranger anything sensitive. Polls or Contact tracers.
But then you have the Facebook idiots who keep a diary of their lives for anyone to data mine.
That could explain the President ‘s low poll numbers against his muttering basement dweller of an opponent.

I took me a long time to unlearn dropping what I am doing, jumping up, and answering the stupid phone. But once I did, it was liberating. Let them talk to the machine and I will get back to them. Maybe.
Phone # required at hair salon, TIME/WEATHER W\works great, no one uses it anymore.
I never answer the phone unless I know who it is.
