The California legislature voted last week to strike anti-discrimination language from the State Constitution.
In a 30-10 vote, the legislature passed the Assembly Constitutional Amendment No. 5 (ACA 5), which removes the words “The state shall not discriminate against, or grant preferential treatment to, any individual or group on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin,” from California’s constitution, which were put in place in 1996 with Proposition 209.

California's Demagogic Party has been trying to get rid of Prop 209 for years, including by setting illegal preference policies at individual universities. The Latino support for its removal wasn't enough, the Floyd Pretext was.

With all their affirmative action programs how has the State of California been able to escape litigation over “The state shall not grant preferential treatment” clause in their Constitution?
they COULD just be clearing the field and be preparing a whole new one that would include trannies, and drop the prohibition against preferential treatment.
