They should take their anger out on the politicians they voted for. The employees don’t have a lot of choice. Since it is California it’s a 70% chance the voted for it. They are getting what they asked for. But, even if they didn’t vote for this the employees are still not the one to be angry at.

This is irrespective of whether you agree with the mask policy. The employees don’t deserve the abuse.

Could not agree with you more. These people have zero say in the policy whether it's coming down from the state, or the locality, or the owner of the store, or their corporate offices. These are the front line people making next to nothing who are simply informing people of policies they had no say in creating. What kind of person throws a drink in somebody's face or physically assaults them because they disagree with a store policy? What a massive sense of entitlement.

So true. The poor workers are stuck enforcing edicts from unaccountable politicians. The pols should be taking the heat.
