He later and joined the Army, as a member of the 2nd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment. later he joined the YPG as a foreign volunteer

I thought there was a law against ex-military becoming foreign mercenaries?

Just who do we on the right use to confirm things these days?

Excellent question. My approach is to read as many sources as possible and avoid echo chambers, but it's hard.

Between click-based publications and political information warfare you can't take anything at face value.

Good question. Here's what the State Department says about it: Federal statutes long in force prohibit certain aspects of foreign military service originating within the United States. The current laws are set forth in Section 958-960 of Title 18 of the United States Code. In Wiborg v. U.S. , 163 U.S. 632 (1896), the Supreme Court endorsed a lower court ruling that it was not a crime under U.S. law for an individual to go abroad for the purpose of enlisting in a foreign army; however, when someone has been recruited or hired in the United States, a violation may have occurred. The prosecution of persons who have violated 18 U.S.C. 958-960 is the responsibility of the Department of Justice. Although a person's service in the armed forces of a foreign country may not constitute a violation of U.S. law, such action could serve as a predicate act for the relinquishment of U.S. citizenship under 349(a)(3) of the INA [8 U.S.C. 1481(a)(3)] under two circumstances. Section 349(a)(3) provides for loss of U.S. nationality if a U.S national voluntarily and with the intention of relinquishing U.S. nationality enters or serves in the armed forces of a foreign state engaged in hostilities against the United States or serves in the armed forces of any foreign state as a commissioned or non-commissioned officer.: Advice about Possible Loss of U.S. Nationality and Foreign Military Service If anyone knows more on this topic, I'd be interested to hear it.

” The reasons history must be destroyed is so no one recognizes it when it repeats”

The last famous ice ax murder was Leon Trotsky in Mexico City... but not many remember...

Guessing they ransacked some unfortunate climbers apartment? Some ice axes are chrome/shiny.

I gave my gear to my son a couple of years back, I think he likes and uses my Mjolnir.

They stole a car, George Floyd was passing forged bills. I think I see a common thread here.

It is a BS Forum.

I know many YPG and YPJ soldiers. They are not like the Antifa idiots.

They took volunteer soldiers from many countries, but it was noted by my friends that the Antifa “volunteers” were crazy and they pushed them away from the action saying they were going to get people killed.

Yes, N.Syrian Kurds are largely moderately left. They are not like the PKK, who started out as Marxist (some said Maoist).

The source is NOT a new outlet and 4Chan is not a reliable place to look for the truth.

Did you watch the videos or the audio?

YPG are Marxist...that’s inarguable

If they weren’t killing daesh you wouldn’t like them

They are indeed cases of American John Reeds joining Kurdish militias

And 4chan while at times is Gatewaypundit is a times willing to expose via posters what media ignore

I linked

Video

Audio

And Twitter feeds

Research it before you dismiss it

Please

YPG are Marxist.

Simply not true.

I’ve known some of them since 2014.

Have had long discussions with them over the years. Worked closely with some for years. Concerning news from there.

looks like the Iconic Security guy that was around chaz today trying too hard to be cool. But the shooter was supposed to be someone named leal.

There is a white man shot black boy narrative building; otoh, a 19yo black boy immediately claimed to have lit the car up along with his bros. So it appears there were multiple shooters of all shades according to at least three witnesses.

Those guns disappeared until today, when they were ‘saged’ to ‘cleanse’ them. (concrete media walk-thru tape first hour or three)

The Kurdish Peoples Protection Units(YPG) fighting under a red star flag in Syria have direct ties to the Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) fighting under a red star flag in Turkey and Iraq. They share leadership, ideology, logistics, and have the common goal of establishing an independent communist Kurdistan. The links between YPG and PKK are indisputable, as is their shared political ideology. The notion that they’re not fruit from the same poison tree is absurd.
