The Archdiocese of San Francisco says it will comply with the city’s COVID-19 health order after multiple complaints about Catholic churches holding illegal indoor Masses and priests conducting services without wearing masks.
On Monday, City Attorney Dennis J. Herrera sent a seven-page cease-and-desist letter to the archdiocese demanding that it adhere to the city’s health protocols. ABC7 News obtained a copy of the letter.
