Twitter has removed President Trump's "They're not after me. They're after you" meme
Twitter has removed President Trump’s “They’re not after me. They’re after you” meme
.....making it twice as famous and effective.
“Its high time Trump switched to Parler. Twitter is too big for its own britches.”

Not sure why hiding somewhere where a person will never be heard from again would be a good idea. This should have been handled years ago by defunding Twitter and other social media, by making them civilly liable to pay for their illegal political actives. Remove the protection.
Also, it’s not an either/or - a person can consign himself to an online conservative gulag and be active in other social media,
“A reason? We dont need no steeenking reason!”

The only thing I can think of is the photo isn’t licensed. I’d have the WH photographer take a pic of Trump, or use one of already at hand, put the words on it and re-pin it at the top of the Twitter feed.
With the new EO, defunding them by removing 230 protection is a distinct possibility.
Besides, Trump exiting Twitter and making a big deal over it would encourage the mass exit to Parler. This would hurt Twitter. Him switching would make Twitter into an obscure nursery school for leftards, and boost th prestige of Parler as an open forum.
Thanks.
“encourage the mass exit to Parler.”

I see - concentrate all conservatives in one place where they camp out, tell each other stuff and see how long it takes for an echo to come back.
Make more sense to just tell everyone to go to Friendster or My Space while waiting for the mass exodus to happen.

Almost 4 years too late and still the dollar short. Just so much more tick-tocking, “one of these days, Alice! One of these days!”.
EOs are a difference that make no difference if not actually made manifest in the real world. Totally meaningless other than as a symbol.
Breitbart says the request for removal came from the NY Times.
No surprise.
SMS??
Does that mean you can’t sign up for Parler using a desktop?
Keep all conservatives “engaged” on Twitter and Facebook, where they are censored by overgrown schoolyard bully wannabes for anything and everything. That’s a great alternative—not! So long as Parler does not institute similar censorship, you’ll get a forum with liberals and leftards in it, too. Some of them might even be sane. But an echo chamber, not. They’ll learn from Twitter’s failed business model, and not make the same mistakes.
OK. So let’s get the present Congress to approve a bill that can be made law instead./s
Wow. That hit a nerve over at Twitter, didn’t it? LOL!
Scott Adams may, possibly, be right. My family experienced life under an out-of-control Leftist regime (the Soviet Union). My paternal grandfather’s father was murdered by Stalin’s thugs, and almost all of his descendants (my grandfather and one brother got out before then, the rest were trapped) were kept in the world’s largest open-air prison for 3 generations. Those fates may be in the cards for me and for my family...but this time, it won’t be for free. I f’ing promise!
The Left has invested so much energy to destroy Trump. Imagine what they will do with those resources after he’s gone.
They’ll need a new target

Would be as effective as an impotent EO.
“Keep all conservatives engaged on Twitter and Facebook, where they are censored by overgrown schoolyard bully wannabes for anything and everything.”

Too bad Trump doesn’t know an elected official who could get the socials to shape up. Maybe he knows an influential notary public or someone in the public water works dept who could help?
“Does that mean you cant sign up for Parler using a desktop?”
You can register and use Parler on desktop but registration still requires SMS which is basically they send a text code to your phone which you enter to confirm your identity. I do not want to give out my phone contact info.
Parler can promise all day they won’t sell your personal info but I’ve heard that too many times.
AMEN... priceless photo........
AMEN.. praying here for our President and country.
