July 2 (UPI) -- The Supreme Court on Thursday agreed to hear a case in which congressional Democrats are seeking secret materials from the Justice Department's Russia investigation.
In orders issued by the court, justices added the high-profile case to their docket for the next term, granting a request made the Trump administration in May.
The court's decision means that unless it fast-tracks oral arguments in the case, the materials sought by Democrats are unlikely to be released until next year.
House Democrats are seeking access to the redacted portions of the report by former special counsel Robert Mueller, who led the investigation. They first went to court a year ago with the intention of using the information as part of their impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump.

My guess is the redacted parts are sections related to active grand jury investigations. When released, if ever, I would expect a deflated, anticlimactic moment buried by the corporate media. The build-up will have them focused though because $$$ is in it and it fits their agenda.

Roberts will collude with the Demonrats to give them ANYTHING THEY WANT. They own his miserable hide, somehow, someway. Maybe he’s a closeted homosexual, I don’t know, but they own him, lock, stock and barrel.
The Court of Appeals agreed to the release of the Grand Jury transcripts. Having at least four Justices who agreed to accept the case is a huge win for the Trump administration.
The court also refused to fast track the case so it won’t be heard until after the election in November. If the Republicans take back the house, the new committee will submit a motion and order to dismiss the case entirely.
