Just let him ask his questions and ignore if it bothers you. What he obviously meant is how the winning side allowed statues of the losing side to exist post-reconciliation.

Oddly enough the winning side in the pre-Revolutionary Battle of Point Pleasant put up a statue to the defeated Shawnee leader Cornstalk...as well as the winning colonial leader Col? Andrew Lewis, although the pair of fairly recent statues is crude and amateurish. I have no idea where they are displayed as there’s a classic sculpture of Lewis at Pt. Pleasant in stone.

Gen. Andrew Lewis has better executed statues in the region, though. So far Antifa hasn’t vandalized them yet.
