If California state sanctions are constitutionally valid, why are federal sanctions against the sanctuary secessionists of the state of California constitutionally invalid ?

Maybe a few of the local Sheriffs should start arresting the state inspectors or a few of those inspectors could start having unfortunate accidents.

Who’s going to enforce this? The cops I see are basically on strike.

The state should not face sanctions for not enforcing federal immigration laws and such but local government should face sanctions for not obeying King Gavin? I got it now.

The truth is the governors edict cannot be enforced if the public does not want to obey.

Good point bert.

And, if California, New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Illinois, and other tyrannical state governors can institute unconstitutional "decrees" (such as Gov Newsom's from yesterday that banned worship singing in all churches), then why can't President Trump institute a series of national Executive Orders that override theirs?

The Supremacy Clause of the Constitution gives him both the authority and the right to do so in these cases, because these state governors have clearly violated the supreme law of the land.

- restriction of worship services are invalid (nationally)

- restriction of business operations are invalid (nationally)

And so on.

The only possible reason I can fathom that he won't do so is because he fears the media and the Democrats blaming him for each and every COVID death or infection (real or imaginary) between now and November. However, they are blaming him anyway.

Why not save the Republic and uphold the Constitution in the process?

And I would add:

- mandatory mask orders are invalid (nationally)

At a Long Island Walmart yesterday, I had the silly mask on while shopping.

Waiting in a long line to check out, I took off the mask and said aloud, “I CANT BREATHE”. People turned around and stared, one woman agreed. I said I had it, i am not doing this any more. Flu season is over.

I have a new idea for a face mask. Much, much easier to breathe. You simply place one hand over your nose while giving the FINGER...

Or fill your cart completely with frozen food and while standing in line say loudly you cannot breathe, take off your mask and walk out. Bring a few friends to do the same thing for greater effect.

“.... if the public does not want to obey.”

Like the unions the libs support, the people will go on strike. And Newsome’s little group will be outnumbered worse than Custer. He’s going to a gunfight with a butter knife.

Further more, they have been luring and protecting the illegals in the state for years now. That group has nothing to lose. Wait till they get organized and then watch the carnage. These people have been fighting revolutions to get here for generations. They are practiced. My old man used to call this biting off more than you can chew.

Requirements to wear masks in certain situations continued to generate controversy.

A McDonald’s restaurant employee in Oakland said she was grabbed, hit and slapped by a customer last weekend after telling him he had to wear a mask to pick up his order at a drive-thru window, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

_____________________________________________

I am guessing that the customer is probably a black or a Hispanic...It’s Oakland...

In NYC, a black woman was arrested by NYPD officers for refusing to wear a mask...That was several months ago...After that incident, NY Mayor announced that NYPD officers will not get involved in mask enforcement...

If some similar incident happens in CA, I am expecting the cities to tell cops to back off...Back off on enforcing mask mandate...

Toss out Governor Newsum and the whole rotten Democrat Socialist gang. Send this little boy Governor packing and replace him with a good conservative—if we can find one still living in California. Reform California! We got rid of Davis because he raised the car tax—this clown has become a tin pot dictator.
