Fireworks going off yet? They were still going off occasionally at 2:30am here. And today it is HOT!!!

Yes, fireworks are going off and have been for over an hour and a half. I just came in from watching for a bit. I got tired of mosquitos bumping me and buzzing around my ears and came back to the house. They don’t bite me but they sure are aggravating. I’d still be outside watching fireworks if not for them.
Mother Nature got in on the action. There was a huge thunderhead to the NW with lightning flashing all through it as backdrop to fireworks. And to the SE, the huge full moon was rising through clouds. And fireflies were flickering everywhere. It was all very pretty.
How hot did it get up there today? We were in the 90s with the heat index close to 100. Tomorrow is supposed to be a repeat. Needless to say, there was NO desire to go outside until after the sun went down. LOL
