The sad thing is that the aquarium at the inner harbor is truly amazing.

But the mayor of Balwmer long ago warned that area was a no go zone.

Therefore, whatever happens to it, I could not possibly care less.

They bought it, they own it.

I first saw the National Aquarium soon after it opened, in the early 1980s. It was amazing, as was the Walter’s Art Museum.

Later, I saw the Science Center, and boarded the Constellation and rang her bell; ate oysters and crab cakes at the Harbor Place eatery.

My maternal grandparents were young musicians who met and decided to marry when they were both students at the Peabody Institute.

As recently as 20 years ago, you could walk down Charles Street, Water Street, Light Street, with no fear.

I wouldn’t travel to B’More now, for Anything.
