If you want a preview of what the world socialists want, you don't need to read Karl Marx or the Democratic Party's campaign platform. You can just remember your COVID spring.
What I'll always remember is the hysteria, the bullying, the lying and the devastating pain caused by all of the above.
From the moment news reached the United States of a possible coronavirus outbreak in China, the radical left wing of the Democratic Party was on the march. It's easy to forget now, but when word first came of the so-called "Wuhan flu" spreading in China, the American Left's first priority was to downplay its importance. They insisted it was no big deal and just being hyped by anti-Asian racists.
But something happened on the way to "bending the curve." The Left got a taste of the kind of power it has always dreamed of wielding. Overnight, Democratic governors and mayors declaring unprecedented emergencies and issuing arbitrary edicts for their communities. Their ideological allies in the media ate it up.
Two weeks turned into a month—and then three. All the while, the American economy, which had been riding higher than ever under President Trump's deft stewardship, went into a tailspin. Millions of jobs were lost and businesses were closed—many permanently. Half a school year was lost. Churches were ordered closed. President Trump canceled rallies, and anyone who protested the quarantines was attacked as a fanatic—or worse, a bigot.
Hardship. Unemployment. Isolation. Indignity. All in the name of "science!"
And then, in an instant, all the warnings and hectoring disappeared the moment leftist protestors and rioters took to the streets Even "scientists" changed their tunes, insisting that racism is a greater pandemic than COVID-19, thereby justifying mass protests against the police and burning of buildings.
Now we know the truth.

Watching the Patriot this weekend. Americans burned alive locked inside a church, for opposing tyranny.

I've spent over 20 years as a civil rights attorney in California and I'm known for not taking a back seat to anyone on police misconduct cases. Remember Dwayne Nelson? The L.A. County Sheriff's Department hog-tied and suffocated him in a car. We won that case and put the rightful offenders in jail. Or Margaret Mitchell—the homeless woman who was shot and killed by the LAPD? We won that case too, and ultimately changed the national standard on how law enforcement handles mentally ill victims.
And yet, my commitment to justice and my substantial track record of putting racially driven criminals behind bars hasn't lent itself to returning calls that I've made, in reaching out to longtime colleagues and friends who were behind me every step of the way when I was on "their side." Furthermore, why am I only getting booked on "conservative" media outlets?
I'll tell you why: It's because I'm calling out the farce that is Black Lives Matter—and doing so loudly and proudly. Why? Because, this organization does not speak for me, as an African-American, and if you truly believe that Black lives DO matter, you should reconsider taking your cues from this group's self-serving agenda....
Where is the outrage for a Black three-year-old shot and killed in the car? Where is the outrage for a young Black teen girl shot and killed while watching TV in her home? Why isn't Black Lives Matter protesting these tragedies?...
With one recent executive order, President Trump accomplished more for police reform than the Obama/Biden administration did over all of its eight years in office.
