If Joe Biden wins the election, might he perhaps order—as the grand finale to the inauguration ceremony— the toppling of the Washington Monument?
As preposterous as that scenario might have appeared not that long ago, the possibility arises after listening this morning to a rising contender as Biden's VP pick. Senator Tammy Duckworth [D-IL] was interviewed on CNN's State of the Union. Questioned by Dana Bash, subbing for Jake Tapper, Duckworth twice refused to express opposition to taking down statues of George Washington.

Sounds right for Tammy Duckworth! We should be calling her Duckworth the dipstick. She just sounds stupid whenever she talks.

It was the first time I recall hearing her. I was very underwhelmed by her public speaking ability. It almost sounded as if she’s been taking elocution lessons from Biden!
They wouldn’t have to take it down, just rename it the Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson National Monument.

Before we have a conversation about that, let’s have one about her eligibility. She was born in Thailand to an American father and a Thai Chinese mother.

In a sane world she would be swinging from a lamp post for that.
Then she is not a natural born citizen and is ineligible.
But because the GOP wants to run ineligible candidates too, it will not be raised, just like with the Kenyan from Indonesia.
Rubio, Cruz, Jindal, Haley and George P. Bush are ALL ineligible.
They were all born foreign nationals of foreign national parents even though they were awarded US citizenship as well.
