There are a number of factors here, and the author does a good job noting them. I would add one more: Pathological boredom.

I don't know anyone who has worked honest jobs since a young age who feels any "guilt" about any of this sh!t. These people spouting this "white guilt" nonsense are bored out of their minds and coddled in their own lives, to the point where it takes no effort or energy to survive and even live well. Since they have no problems to deal with (or they're incapable of dealing with them), they have to make up problems that don't exist.
