“Rather than calling them “People of Color,” I’ve decided to start calling them “Colored People.” It’s the same thing but in fewer words, so they can’t complain.”

When I was younger (50+ years ago) blacks were called coloreds. Even on the show “Julia” with Dianah Carrol, Earl J Waggerdorns Aunt asked Julia what it’s like to be colored. Julia responded “you’re colored” the aunt looked puzzled then Julia said “white’s a color!”

But I digress, after colored people, Negro was the socially acceptable term. Then Afro-American, then Black, then African-American. The full circle to “people of color”

So given the lack of creativity among the elite, should we soon expect to use Negro II?
