The municipal cops weren’t doing their jobs before, why would they start now? The Guard are not being sent to patrol the streets, they’re being sent to “free up” the city cops. This is stupid.
The National Guard is not patrolling the streets. They will be guarding state owned property (like Stone Mountain Park and the State Patrol building in Atlanta that was damage by rioters).
