Indeed! Here in St. Augustine - home base of Florida since 1565 - they’re busy taking down the few “Confederate” monuments that we have, basically at the urging of a black “pastor” from Gainesville and his mostly white female USF professor “congregation” or local Massachusetts retirees (with a few bored black kids they’ve managed to round up).
They’ll be turning their eyes to the Spanish markers next, and I actually think I know the first one that is going to be in their sights. Not revealing it though. I don’t want to give anybody any ideas.
