Harvard & Rutgers have already announced they’re going virtual this fall. Some here in PA (Penn State, Villanova) are starting mid-August and ending at Thankgsgiving (to avoid the back-and-forths around the holidays).
Besides tuition, who know how many millions lost in room-and-board, sports, etc.
So political pressure to keep the schools closed vs. political pressure to open them up. How about letting the local school districts make their own decisions?

The very last place we should’ve closed were the schools. School needs to return to normal in the fall, no question about it.

Schools might not open very soon. CSU (23 full universities and 8 satellite campuses totallibg close to half a million students ) is considering staying locked down through summer 2021. Link:
