Diversity is the human experience. I get a little bit frustrated when diversity or the term diversity is tagged to the people of color, or the women, or the LGBT. Her answer was met with a round of applause at the session. Young Smith went on to add that there can be 12 white, blue-eyed, blonde men in a room and theyre going to be diverse too because theyre going to bring a different life experience and life perspective to the conversation.
“WILL BECOME”?
Will become?!
Try is
Many liberal states REQUIRE these diversity positions in corporations. Then they also require enviromental compliance and labor compliance. Also $15/hr minimum wage to crush the small businesses.
Hahaha. Has the author been in cryogenic sleep? What next, a prediction that the public education system will become a leftist breeding ground in the near future?
My thoughts exactly. We like to kid each other where I work and actually think a lot of the PC stuff is pretty stupid. But a fun retort is, when someone tells a joke that has even a HINT of sexism, etc. I like to say,
“Watch out. I’ve got HR on speed dial!”
HR has been a hot mess for 25 years.
I’ve always been told that HR is not there to help or protect the employee, it’s there to protect the organization.
You should see the yearly training crap we have had to go through over the years! My Lord, I shudder to think whats ahead of us now.
Thinkin’ 20 years already.
“Is” or “has been for a while”. The Left has figured out how to use the market to spread it’s poison as effectively as it used government. It’s not limited to just entertainment, and it’s not just HR departments. Just emphasizing the public/private divide will not even slow them down.
Molding "Corporate Culture" is part of Americana. IBM comes to mind. What is different now is that a person's out of office thoughts can be reviewed on social media. The HR department promoting a culture is not new, it has been weaponized.
This started years ago. No news here.
Will? It’s already done.
My father in law was a B-24 and B-17 pilot in WWII, and he served as a command pilot, operations officer, training officer, and safety officer at bomb group and wing level. After the war, he used his GI Bill to get a degree in Electrical Engineering and went to work for the Power Company. He ended up as the Vice President for Personnel based on his expertise in training and safety.
When he retired 45 years ago, his replacement was a Human Resources expert, not an engineer. Every other company followed the same trend and it became the way that women were brought into the executive suites. All HR Departments are now hot beds of sedition working against the best interests of the company, the economy, and the employees. Interestingly, where you find women engineers, you do not see these destructive traits.
HR now controls all the hiring and firing at work. Guess who theyre reaching out to hire??
Wrong tense. Should be “Has Become” and “Is Destroying”.
