I think in any district that announces they are not opening parents should file suit for a refund of the taxes they pay for education. Online learning shouldn’t count since one teacher could teach hundreds of students. There is an online school called K-12 that is free.

Good idea, and include those of us who don't have kids, as well, who have paid high property taxes to fund schools which we don't use.

Couldn’t agree more. Online teaching should mean mass layoffs and lower tax bills.

I think we should get a refund each month the schools were closed as well.
