Troubling times are ahead, no doubt. But his predictions of the way things will evolve are way off. First, a Bible believing Christian who has read the book of Daniel knows God is in control of the nations, and the entire Bible speaks of His plan for the fate of our species. That won’t be decided by globalist bogeymen.

Second, a conservative migration to create a Constitutional utopia is unlikely. Migrate en masse to where? Set up a strong and productive society with what assets, what industry, what markets? How are we going to keep the leftist CEOs and financiers and market middlemen out? How do you test for and enforce that short of totalitarianism?

Third, in the event of a civil war, it won’t be just political left vs. right. It will also be racial in some places. Opportunists will rush in. Numerous enemies covet our territory and resources, from Mexico to China. There will be enemies on every side, and it won’t be tidy and clear.

Again, this is from a biblical world view, but God’s word is clear about what he considers an “abomination”, and this country is full of them— from rampant homosexuality to the death of more than 70million babies and counting. Like Assyria in Nahum, the US is due for a reckoning. Some believe the middle chapters of the apocryphal book of Revelation refer to a pattern of judgement on a nation to weaken it in stages prior to destruction: disease, natural disasters, economic ruin, internal wars, external invasion. In the middle of that process, there is this chilling verse which at once shows God’s attempts to get people to change before it’s too late: “But still they did not cease from their idolatry and their killing.”

‘Again, this is from a biblical world view, but God’s word is clear about what he considers an “abomination”, and this country is full of them’

perhaps you can explain why a world loaded with ‘abominations’ such as lightly restricted abortion can be permitted to continue apace with these abominations, if the deity that created everything is so offended by them...Roe v Wade, 47 years and counting, sixty million deaths and counting even as we watch...you speak of divine retribution; how glacially slow is such retribution acceptable to you...?

About the CWII Ping List

The CWII Ping List is short for Civil War II. It is NOT a list of people advocating another Civil War in America. It is a list of people who are interested in the parallels between the Civil War (or War Between the States, if you prefer) and our current situation, or more generally are noting the references to a 'coming Civil War' that are made in the press.

Of course sometimes this is merely a figure of speech, such as "The Tea Parties are fighting a civil war for the heart of the GOP". This would not merit a CWII ping.

On the other hand someone saying something like "The events in California are reminiscent of what happened in Yugoslavia in the period proceeding the Civil War" would merit a ping.

FR rules do not permit advocating for the overthrow of the Republic, and I am not aware of anyone doing so on the list. Still many do see that as the political climate worsens we may be heading in a direction that makes such a conflict all but inevitable, particularly if other avenues for resolving our differences are taken away. Such as widespread vote fraud by leftists making elections meaningless, or a small cadre of judges over-ruling all attempts to end destructive policies over the clear will of the people.

The correct keyword tag for the Civil War II ping list is "CWII". Please Freep Mail me to get on the list

You didn’t read the Bible, only parts of it. WWI, WWII, and all the other world wars in history weren’t thwarted by God.

Very close to our own story.

We just made our NYEXIT and are NH residents now.

We still have the house in NY to sell and then we’ll be done.

‘Imagine is President Trump had not won the last election. Would ever have been another election? Yes...like China’s or Russia’s.’

would you have said the same thing if you had lived sometime during the years 1861-1933, when one party (republican) held the White House for 56 of the 72 years...only Cleveland and Wilson broke through the streak for the dems...

They are in Arkansas, not Alaska.

I believe you can buy long guns in states contiguous to your state of residence, unless that state is California (of course).

That was a great read. Thanks for posting. It doesn’t make me sad; I find it inspiring. I know what is right will win out in the end.

Also, I don’t think we’ll see full-out war in our lifetimes. America is still too wealthy of a nation for that to happen. There’s too much capital to burn through, even if it IS just on paper. ;) The Socialist Democrats ARE working on destroying the economy, that’s for sure. It’s their only hope, actually.

And don’t forget the RINOs who are working against, ‘We The People, as well. They’re every bit as much to blame. :(

“If you believe in freedom, realize that fake conservatives that support government tyranny will be as much a problem as Marxist lefties.”

Another spoke in this wheel of chaos will be the financial system implosion. Most of us have worked hard and saved what we have earned for our future. The other side, probably not so much. You think the chop/chaz gang were financially solvent?

If things go off the rails, banks, credit unions and other financial institutions could become a house of cards. As there will most definitely be a run on banks, your entire lives earnings may become unavailable. That will be an attention getter.

Our side badly needs the organization of local militias (as guaranteed by the constitution). Especially with the police under attack, and the threat posed by the international funded leftwing militias, such as Antifa, BLM, and radical Muslim groups. These militia cells should be organized bottom-up in every county and led by local sheriffs and military veterans. A blue print is badly needed.

That is precisely, and in totality, the cause of the first War Between the States of Northern Agression.

What if we are at the door way to the Biblical Tribulation?

I've enjoyed studying End Times theology, and one thing is pretty clear: America doesn't seem to play much, if any, role. I used to think that meant America would get destroyed in a war, but now I believe we'll simply implode from the rampant immorality. We'll lose any moral standing in the world, and thus will have to stand by and watch as events play out. Does that mean we should stop fighting against the enemy? Absolutely not. God is still sovereign and His plan will work.

This Civil War will be urban vs rural.

I’m glad that I grew up a country boy. I side with the group that values freedom, grows the food, and believes in the right to bear arms.

With long guns, usually an over-the counter purchase from an FFL is okay out of state. Some states may add additional restrictions (the contiguous states thing could be such a state requirement, I know it doesn't apply everywhere). The problem with having a California driver's license is that California requires that ALL transfers of ANY firearm be made through a California FFL dealer. You may purchase from an out-of-state dealer, but the transfer must occur through a California FFL, who is required to verify that the firearm may be sold in California, collect California sales tax, and impose the California 10 day waiting period. That's why an Arkansas purchase is a no-go.

I believe conservatives have not been sucked into a reactionary stance yet because they are thinking logically and refusing to play the game for now.

Conservatives need to remember that almost all of the Left is/are godless. As such, anything goes! Why do you think they have no qualms about beating people? Why do you think their language is always so filthy?

When you're godless, you have no absolutes. Anything goes. Things that conservatives would never consider doing are easy for progressives. No absolutes means you can make up the rules as you go.
