Looks dumb and disruptive to me. Oklahoma is a State, not a reservation. There is hardly a shred of land here that is still indian owned.
More out of hand revisionist history and law.
The USSC have made fools of themselves. Again. They are hardly relevant any longer so far as reputation is concerned.
To have declared statehood if the sovereign territory of the indian allotments still endures was wrong. If the tribal sovereignty is to exist the state should dissolve in the areas that were indian allotments and that includes much of the state.
What I really want to see happen is for the tribes to make good on the collection of the nickel a ton royalty on all the sand removed from the Arkansas River system. I might see a dime or two from that after they got through stealing most of it.
Gorsuch and his gang just ripped the lid off of Pandora’s Box so far as Oklahoma is concerned. Let’s see where Stitt goes with his gaming commission shake down now.
Only ones I can think of are the Kenton reserve and Osage county. Lots of other small areas still “Indian Land” but lots of Indians own large areas of private land or homes in cities.

Link on Trump tax returns. Both are 7-2 with Thomas Alito in dissent. Sent back to lower courts.
No tax return release yet.
There is now
Years ago I heard that every citizen of OK is part Am Indian.
They feel that they have no choice but maintain the legal fiction of Indian sovereignty. Personally, I wish we could get past it, but the court is extraordinarily good at maintaining legal fictions, like the line they feed us about Americans being a free people.
