The president’s lawyers should have stated that they are now *assuming* that the documents will be leaked to their political enemies; and ask the court to issue special instructions to lower courts that those documents and their contents be inadmissible in criminal and civil cases apart from that of this particular DA’s investigations.
If they can do it to Trump, they can get anyone’s starting with Nancy and husband’s tax records.

Did Drudge sell his site? Looking at the headlines today and how they were written it is shocking how twisted he went there. He is actively gloating over everything liberal, and not just Trump which turned me off to begin with.
I always thought that Trump was protecting future presidents. His taxes are audited every year. If there was something criminal it would have been leaked - I’m assuming everyone at the IRS hates him.
He pays millions of dollars in taxes. He donates his entire paycheck.

Ya think???!!! Look at how stupid the media looked when it was thought they had a Trump tax document. That turned out to be a huge nothingburger and they (Rachel Maddow) had major egg on their faces. What makes anyone think Trump's documents the courts allow to be released will stay confidential as is required by LAW? We've already seen the ridiculous lengths they will go to to get him.
Congress certainly could enact legislation that requires presidential candidates release tax and financial information but they haven't done so yet. It has been voluntary in the past but not mandated. It's too late to demand it for the upcoming election. It's patently obvious that this latest battle is solely to attack Trump. What would be hilarious is if after all the fights they do eventually get his information it turns out to be all above board and positive for him and they look even more foolish!
