Having spent a number of years in the UAE/other ME countries in support of US projects, I agree with your pictures. These men know how to buy things and know who can build them. They have a vision and have some decent managers. But don’t ask them to do the engineering or train the laborers, that takes Western/Asian technology. Cheers.
