BTW, Old Abe was sure he would be a one-term phenomenon, too. His fortunes changed after Atlanta was burned to the ground. Guess what. Atlanta has been good and thoroughly burnt, albeit not quite to the ground.
He already said he would do this- if the Rats would have agreed to fund the wall, it would have been done a long time a go. The democrats blocked it.

When I first read about his I was pissed just like everyone else. One of the reasons I supported the guy from the beginning.
But, there’s a little voice in there that says that he has something or mabye two or three things up his sleeve that will, once again, force the Dem’s to make a decision.
Could it be ending Birthright Citizenship...which is the only reason they come here-to get their kids on the dole so they can take advantage of that money
Could it be ending Chain Migration...goes hand in hand with Birthright Citizenship, as once the pop out a citizen they can reel in their family members.
We’ll soon find out.
Dem’s may not take the bait knowing that he’s played them quite a bit. Hell, if it weren’t for McConnell and his crew, most of this stuff would already be settled.
We shall see.

The democrats use that line all the time, as if that's the only solution the republicans have.
Enforce all laws on the books relating to illegals and many will repatriate on their own.
At least one state did that a couple of years ago and most illegals left the state, many back to Mexico and others to sanctuary areas, ie states and cities with those policies.
If Trump is going to give citizenship to illegals, even if it is just daca ppl, that's a big mistake.
I hope he has a good plan.
Self deportation is the way forward.
Or...
If the 20 million or so illegal males of fighting age left the USA and marched into Mexico, they could take over the corrupt government there and make Mexico a prosperous country.
That's my solution...

Unless you’re being facetious, I agree with you completely. Trump is a political genius.
I wasn’t being facetious.
Having to take a little holiday back home to get amnesty is amnesty.
We need our immigration laws enforced, except the most egregious, such as chain migration, reversed.
DACA was really never legal and it should be revoked, not realized by yet another amnesty.
More liberal Jared/Ivanka/uniparty, US-killing barf.
I have been an early and strong supporter of Trump. But he is sooo disappointing now.
It is heartbreaking.
He just keeps making his election less likely. Stupid childish tweets,listening to Jared and Ivanka, putting more emphasis on stock market than the middle class, attack mode on steroids and on and on. Now DACA.
He is still America’s only hope and I will continue to support and vote for him, but if he loses, he bought it.
