A recent FR article, whose title I cannot remember, explained in what way children’s vaccines really CAN cause autism. Autism is one of the cruelest disabilities a family can suffer. Trying to blame its effects on poor parenting only adds to the pain. Though some behaviors may be mitigated, to try to say better parenting would fix everything is ridiculous, ignorant and hurtful. I don’t, thanks be to God, have any autistic children or grandchildren, but I do know, for instance, that some autistic children do not sleep more than an hour or two for days on end. Can you imagine a parent having to deal with that? When do THEY get to sleep? And their kid’s not quietly playing video games while he’s not sleeping; he’s often riling up the entire household. What are the parents supposed to do -— spank the kid till he falls asleep? Take away his t.v. he never watches, or his toys he never plays with anyway? Give us some good parenting examples that would fix autistic behavior. I, and others are waiting with bated breath.
If we are going to go 'all in' on this mask scam, then no one should be allowed in a public space without a mask. No execeptions, don't care what the excuse is. Stay your ass home.
Mind you, I think the entire mask business is a joke, but when I went out this week to do my thing, kids weren't wearing them. Some stores didn't require them. One store required them last week and then not this week.
It's a fat joke, all it.
Part virtue ("my masks protects you, your masks protects me") signalling
Mostly dog-whistle obedience training.
Quick and easy way to scan and see what % will take the Gates vaccine.
We share office space, and I do not wear a mask, someone placed a sign on the wall that said, I wear a mask for you.
I thought of vandalizing their sign
The reason I implied some blame on mom was because her over-the-top reaction to a typical first-world problem. What else sets her off and is it healthy for a very young child to have to deal with?
Doesn't an amusement park seem like a huge leap? Wouldn't a smaller, initial, desensitizing step seem more appropriate, something like a Walgreens or a McDonalds, working up to wearing protective clothing one article at a time?
It sounds as if the mother has a chip on her shoulder.
a huge leap from where? the kid looks to be 8-10 years old. I truly doubt this is his first trip out into the world. covid or not
Well, maybe the mother should choose some time in the future to take her son to this park or find another way to entertain him. I’m tired of people making demands for their every need or desire.
When did I say any of those things?
I didn’t say his ailments aren’t real or that parenting could fix anything, I said his mother exploits them to her own ends.
“It sounds as if the mother has a chip on her shoulder.”
Dingdingdingdingding! We have a winner!
“It’s a fat joke, all it.”
In the immortal words of Spanky McFarland of Little Rascals fame: “You’re darn tootin’!
And furthermore, the farther you get from tall buildings, the fewer people there are who wear masks.
I don’t know where you live, but you are not alone. The real people, the down-home, salt-of-the-earth people who hang out a little greasy-spoon diners at 6 in the morning and then go jump on a tractor for the next ten hours, those people understand what’s going on here.
Problem comes in when you realize and accept that 75% of people live in urban jungles nowadays, and have completely lost all grasp on the ability to engage in sensible, logical thought.
The urbanites don’t realize that we have been surrounded by many, many deadly diseases since the dawn of time, but this one is being used to unseat a president.
Since when, in all the history of mankind, do we “test” outwardly healthy people for a “disease” and proceed to tell symptom-free people that they are, in fact, ill, and must spend the next two weeks hiding under their beds for the good of mankind (and the good of the democrat party)? Since when do we do that? Yaaaaggghhh!
Thanks for reading.
There is something wrong with the situation where a kid who can’t deal with sensory overload goes to a place which sells sensory overload.
It’s kinda like the mom who wanted (and I believe got) a major-league baseball stadium (remember back in the day, when the democrats let us have baseball?) to go entirely peanut-free for her son, who had a peanut allergy.
Entitlement mentality means that the many must bow to the one. That’s no way run a planet.
Maybe I read more into your comment; it sounded like you were blaming his behavior on his mother.
He is one of first murdered after the BLM feces kills the disabled.
+1
Most urbanites are clueless about so many basic things.
How squash family plants pollinate.
How corn pollinates.
Why crops must be rotated.
How to tell a tree from its bark.
I could go on and on...
“we have been surrounded by many, many deadly diseases since the dawn of time, but this one is being used to unseat a president.”
You got that right.
