The shorter season is a great start to make baseball meaningful to most people again. They also should decrease the games to 7 innings. Right or wrong the game is too long and slow for the modern mind and life. Similarly golf should only be 16 holes.

Playing seven-inning games isn't going to fix that. So you have a seven-inning boring game instead of a nine-inning boring game. Why not save everyone the boredom and play a ZERO-inning game? Just have a three-hour batting practice and call it a day.

Like in Little League, if we jacked around too much at the plate the ump would say “Cmon, Batter”
I like the DH on both sides. Pitchers batting bores me
Golf should use carts . . . for at least the early holes, esp in the latter rounds.
