There’s a lot of background friction going on with the Chicoms right now. Their first move will be to take Taiwan. If a war broke out between us there would be a lot of people detained in both of our countries.

I would think it would depend on whether the hostilities start with Xi or some other faction bent of picking a fight (like the military itself).
They could ramp up with India or create a face-off in the South China Sea.
I also think because there is growing anger against the ChiComs because of the spread of the “Wuhan Red Virus Of Death” that have its origins in a biological lab.
