uh....last I checked mainland China is a communist country. They don’t care about niceties too much. When Canada arrested that Huawei executive China retaliated by arresting at least a couple of businessmen. They are still in jail. Anyone visiting a communist country has a degree of risk when it comes to govt. action against them.
Well I am posting this from a communist country. I use common sense, but feel no threat in Vietnam, whatsoever.
I lived in China, a long time ago.
Thirty plus years ago.
That was before Tien An Men. It was much then, like Vietnam is now.
YEs, at some point decades ago our elites decided they’d portray most communist countries in a positive light - and naïve Westerners have paid a price.
