Most people don’t do anything more than get drunk on their ass and eat hot dogs.
Here in northeastern NJ, where Americans are slowly disappearing, there were a LOT of fireworks - despite many towns canceling their shows.
I was impressed; these would have cost us a pretty penny when I was younger, and some were simply unattainable (show-grade fireworks in the hands of regular people).
