If this was an accidental release of a bio-weapon, it's the best news this year. I've been assuming it was a calculated one two punch: first virus weakens - second kills off most of us. What a relief if this was an accident...
Bannon? Reliable?

He is very smart and well educated. Is he always right? No.
But from my view of him, I think he tries to be honest with himself. And never sugar coats things for up channel use.

IMHO the Chinese “billionaires” only exist because it is in the interests of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for them to exist. They are Party technocrats that run the industries that have evolved in China. They are not capitalists or free in the Western sense and do the bidding of the CCP. The CCP finds them a very useful conduit to the West for capital, technology and markets. Also have some doubts about Steve Bannon. Bannonrose to a level in the Trumpm Administration where he was in a real position to make policy and dictate events. Somehow he was not able to capitalize or execute. Trump dumped him and he has been on a downward spiral ever since. An operative like Guo would find a man like Bannon very useful. Bannon still has some connections and would be a source of information and introduction. Bannon would also be too eager to please to create something for himself.
Agreed......”Accidental?” It doesn’t take but a few functional brain cells to figure out how much this virus is being used by the deep state to attempt a coup.

I do have an updated opinion of Miles Guo, Bannon’s close associate and possible benefactor sponsoring the War Room, etc.
Around the end of 2019, I started following Guo on his website because he seemed dedicated to bringing down the CCP with some inside sources close to the regime. He claimed he would not want to be a part of the ruling class after the CCP collapses, and thus gave the impression of a selfless man working to change the lot of mainland Chinese.
That perception has completely changed. Now it is clear to me the reason Guo doesn’t want to get involved running a post-CCP China is because he wants to be the overlord overseeing the new government with influence and actual power, on the strength of his connections to the West, especially to the US. That way, he has all the power but without the responsibilities and all the work of actually running a country.
Now that by itself may not be a problem if he is an honest man with integrity. But more and more, I heard him take credit for anything and everything that he had no reason to. He claimed he was involved in helping the HK protests (when most Hkers don’t even know who he is); how he had donated massive quantities of masks to Hkers (don’t seem to be true); how he would consider financially support the pro-democracy Apple Daily that has fallen into financial trouble (never materialized).
There is an elderly businessman from HK, Elmer Yuen, who is now in the US lobbing for help for HK youths. I read that Yuen was recently on Bannon’s War Room and happened to mention that all CCP members should be treated as criminals. And for that, he has been banned from the War Room, with Guo’s fingerprint all over it since Guo believes all CCP members should be amnestied. That clearly shows the relationship between Guo and Bannon, and how Guo treats people with a different opinion.
I don’t go to Guo’s site anymore, other than an occasional quick check, always keeping in mind Guo has a propensity to exaggerate. Take the case of this woman scientist from China. Guo had told us the person was one of the prime researchers from the Wuhan lab and had brought a lot of documents, giving us hope there might finally be proof that the CCP engineered the virus. Well, turns out, the lady only got involved in late 2019 in HK, doesn’t know much about the virus, and only learned from Chinese Weibo communications that the virus was highly contagious. No wonder someone had opined that she was just trying to immigrate to the US.
