the first statement doesn’t state or even suggest accident, only that it’s beleived to have been brought there not originating there.
Some one could have brought it on purpose, but it doesn’t mean the originating (morphing) happened there, since we have other articles available to us stating this virus was known about years ago.
Numerous deaths could have been avoided but ego driven people made choices and caused many to die unnecessarily.
