U.S. equity markets rallied Monday as two COVID-19 vaccines were given “fast-track” status and earnings season kicked off with some better-than-expected results.
Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE received fast-track designation for two of their experimental COVID-19 vaccines, helping offset news that the number of new daily COVID-19 infections in the U.S. remained above 60,000 all weekend.

They don’t have a cancer or HIV vaccine but yet they ironically have this one semi-figured out in less than a year?
Interesting that covid cases are surging after mask mandates. Obviously people wearing masks are testing positive.

Not because I’m an anti-vaxxer, but because last time I got a flu shot I got really sick off of it, and I don’t want to deal with that again.

I got into a nasty spat with a store manager who came up to me and started instructing me on the proper way to wear a mask, i.e. over the nose...someone ratted me out, so either someone didn’t like the way I parted my hair, or someone thinks I can infect someone with a lethal disease by normal exhalation through my nostrils...
this manager knows who I am, and he knows I’m not a fan of the masks; he saw me sitting outside the store with no mask and mentioned it to my wife, who said I’m not a fan of masking, so he made it his business to ‘correct’ me...pure harassment for the sake of harassment, and they shall get no further money from me...
Becuase there was a lot of work on SARS and MERS which fizzled before the weaponization of the disease against the president Becuase that president was acceptable to the media
Additionally the panic of the mRNA vaccine is stupid. The spike proteins are synthesized by mRNA coding so creating antibodies are very reasonable. For those who don’t understand....viruses themselves alter the genetics of a cell. This handwringing over vaccination is laughable.

No, completely different disease. HIV doesn’t generate much response from the human immune system. In the cases where humans do produce antibodies, those antibodies aren’t particularly effective against HIV. And HIV is incredibly good at hiding from the immune system for however long it pleases.
Vaccines work by giving the immune system a sneak peek at a new pathogen so it can prepare defenses ahead of time and overwhelm that pathogen whenever it encounters it. But with HIV, the immune system doesn’t care when you show it the pathogen. It largely ignores it in vaccine form and it largely ignores it when the pathogen is encountered in the wild.
I was sick for a day from a flu vaccine a couple of years or so ago, too. It’s wasn’t as bad for me as getting the flu, though.
The Moderna vaccine in dosages used in the latest trial won’t make any of the participants sick. One volunteer given a very large dosage in the first trial had some noticeable but non-serious symptoms. Only lower dosages are being administered in the final trial. Those lower dosages generated sufficient antibodies in all of the participants during the first trial.
I’ll take the vaccine. Receiving so many from the Army in the past probably made me accustomed to getting them.
The only shot from the Army that bothered me was one of the vaccines for third world diseases. Bit of a rough fever for a night was all.
There is no single cancer. There are many different varieties, and while they have the common factor of being a genetic mutation, the cause and operation of them is radically different. Thus, the treatment depends on the type of cancer.
And has also been pointed out, there is no “vaccine” for cancer, just as there is no vaccine for obesity or heart disease.

My whole point is why should anybody trust this vaccine with supposedly less than 6 months of research on it when they still cannot come up with vaccines on the other diseases out there that kill far more people.
The run-up to mandatory vaccination. Won’t comply. Will they force us? DEATH first.

WE won’t trust it because it’s purely political and we know better. (There is no vaccine, and there won’t be.) I’d NEVER take it. But, as my sister pointed out, as long as the low-I.Q. sheep believe there’s a vaccine it might end the mask craze and scamdemic panic — and help the stock market. So let them go to their Fool’s Paradise, and we’ll just stand back and laugh at them.
I’ve been death-bed level sick twice in my lifetime. Both times just after taking a vaccine shot for the flu. Never again.
Well that makes me a little more comfortable. Hope you’re right, if I’m forced to get it in one way or another.
Remember when democrats whined about no mask shaming towards people wearing masks? Nearly all the shaming I’ve seen is towards those not wearing masks!
