When I was in public school in San Jose,CA in the early 70s, those two groups were always going at it. It was nice because the whites were more or less left alone. If you carried a Spanish book, guess who gave you protection? What a hideous time, like prison. I thought it was just SJ but later in life, I found out that was going on (and still is apparently) all over that crappy state.
I think, he does sue her.
Does the driver say in the video interview with Telemundo say the woman said, “We are black, so you have to respect us,” and ‘reminded the chofer the fact that he is Latino’?
The local LA CBS report makes no mention of that.
Do you have a link?
You could be right, but Rev. Al is breathing down his neck and coming hard.
The story was on the Natchez Democrat newspaper Website, www.natchezdemocrat.com
The reporter does not. But the driver did say that. I watched it twice. Here is from friends
Watch between 1:12 and 1:20. ..The driver says:
"...a los negros tiene que respecter... ademas...verbalmente que soy Latino"...
Thanks! Will do.
To be honest with you, I don’t think success or failure of the current politics will affect this behavior. This “attitude” has been going on for decades in certain corners of the lower class and is going to continue.
Some people don’t care whether what they do is right or wrong; they just want to see the world burn.
I don’t doubt as to “why” the reporter of Telemundo which is an NBC company didn’t highlight it...
No dudo que bay racismo. Incluso entre latinos. Suramericanos contra Centro americanos , Mejicanos contra Chapin, los de Chiapas son victims tambien se racismo en Mexico, etc...
"Dice, que a los negros tiene que respetar"
Thank you.
Ahh.. come on, no need for that.
chofer is the proper name in Spanish.
cholo implies gang member, and this man is a working man.
