A few days ago the LA teachers’ union released a statement that they won’t go back to work because of covid unless medicare for all is passed, defunding the police, get rid of charter schools and of course, can’t forget to give these people who haven’t worked since March a 250 million dollar pay raise as well.
That is what we are dealing with right now.
Make it a national campaign issue of why public schools need competition, let parents decide if that school district is worthy of their child’s attendance.
