Yes, masks are not very effectkve. Yes, putting people in jail for not wearing a mask is the epitome of anarcho-tyranny.

And reasonable or not, mayors and governors do not have the legal power to create laws. If its really that important those governors and mayors need to persuade the legislatures to pass a temporary law. Bypasing the people on something that directly affects all of them without any input and is also of little actual value isnt right.
