Thank you for posting this article. This seems very important research. It’s to bad media is ignoring this research.
Uh no. The 19 comes from the fact that it was first identified in Dec. 2019. It was initially called the 2019 Coronavirus, but changed to COVID-19 (for COrona VIrus Disease 2019) for various reasons.
“”Does the T in T-cells stand for Trump?” lol
To me, it’s a reasonable hypothesis. To my understanding, diseases are really only eradicated in a few ways: 1) herd immunity is achieved, or 2) a vaccine is found, or 3) the disease mutates into a less virulent form. Of those three, which is most likely to be protecting the homeless?
There’s a reason why societies have adopted, what up until CV19, were the standard, accepted practices for dealing with disease. Most viruses are going to run their course and there’s only so much we can do to alter that course. Our time-honored, standard practices are a good balance between risk mitigation and continuing to live productive lives. Now, we’ve made risk mitigation nearly the only factor in our decision making.
Another reason vitamin D is important: It gets T cells going

Scientific American BlogVitamin D deficiency has been linked to a rapidly expanding inventory of ailmentsincluding heart disease, cancer and the common cold. A new discovery demonstrates how the vitamin plays a major role in keeping the body healthy in the first place, by allowing the immune system's T cells to start doing their jobs.
In order for T cells to become active members of the body's immune system, they must transition from so-called "naive" T cells into either killer cells or helper cells (which are charged with "remembering" specific invaders). And, if ample vitamin D is not around, the T cells do not make that crucial transition, a group of researchers led by Carsten Geisler, head of the Department of International Health, Immunology and Microbiology at the University of Copenhagen, found. They draw this conclusion based on their experiments with isolated naïve human T cells.
"When a T cell is exposed to a foreign pathogen, it extends a signaling device of 'antenna' known as a vitamin D receptor, with which it searches for vitamin D," Geisler said in a prepared statement. If there is an inadequate vitamin D level, he noted, "they won't even begin to mobilize."
Very true...unless our president just happens to be Donald J. Trump in which case he should have stopped this in its tracks.
It was always about the election.
And still doctors refused to do it for a long time and rejected his findings. He ended up committed to a mental hospital and died in his 40s. But eventually the medical community caught on.
Chris Martenson at Peak Prosperity had this in one of his virus videos last Friday. That study mentioned previous exposure to SARS, MERS, and 4 different versions of the common cold(coronaviruses) developed T-cells that recognized the first two sections of the virus.

Wow, that is an amazing story. Thanks for posting that. I never knew the history of simple hygiene in medicine.
Interesting...
