Sen. Ted Cruz warned the Texas GOP State Convention if the Democrats win the Lone Star State both the White House and the Senate are gone. 'If the Democrats win Texas it's all over,' Cruz said by video to virtual convention attendees. 'Texas is the single biggest target for the left in 2020, politically speaking. There are 38 electoral votes at stake. There's a U.S. Senate seat at stake. And Texas is the key to national domination for years to come,' the Texas Republican pointed out, in the video address he posted to Twitter Sunday. Polling has shown the race between President Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden tighter than expected in Texas, once a reliably red state, where voters picked Trump over Hillary Clinton in 2016 by nine points.

....moved from Virginia when it was truly a “red” state - look at it now...live in Texas which is at this point still a “red” state...and I fear the same thing will happen here that happened in Virginia....
We’re in deep trouble. Texas, Georgia and Arizona are not heading in a good direction. Any one of those goes and it’s all over. The only way we might survive is if we can permanently keep Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin which will not be easy.
The GOP has ceased to exist for about 25 years now. Its the corporate lobbyist party. This is why they won’t lift a finger to help Trump.

There has been a million opportunities to run the Democrats into the ground. They are not interested in doing so.
Ted Cruz is a master political strategist and he is now baiting the Democrats into wasting big money in Texas for an election that they will not win in a state that the Democrats will never win.
Between unchecked immigration and schools that are now indoctrination centers, all the states will turn blue.

Texas is still a long way. Maybe eventually but look at the margins of every 2018 race other than Cruz. It is still comfortably red. A race here and there may be contested but not overall. Plus as other states like VA will collapse people like us will move there.

They pulled the same crap in 2016. Polls showing Hillary tied in TX, ahead in GA, ahead in AZ...TX and GA were blowouts for Trump. AZ was closer, but Trump still took it.
There’s an ebb and flow to these things. I think we’re a little behind at the moment, but that is FINE. Election day is what this is all about. Being ahead now means nothing. Trying to discern who is ahead now with all the fake polls is also damn near impossible.
