I was wsondering about Trump saying last week that "next Tuesday" he would announce what he will do to fix the lawless cities. Just checked POTUS schedule (not official but they seem to get it right). Likely at the 5 PM News Conference.

Democrats weren’t happy with his votes anti abortion and on being the only democrat to vote NO on allowing men to to call themselves a women and compete with women in college sports.
Those who live in Chicago already voted at their local public library. In the reshaped 3rd Congressional district Daniel Lipinski lost because of redistricting. Which had previously included adjacent Chicago city wards to his 23rd in a district that dealt exclusively with city issues such as a subway L service and the Stevenson Expressway Wards which were reliable Dan’s father William O Lipinski supporters. But since most had areas with hispanic last names those areas were redistricted and assigned to Gutieriez’s district.Those results are posted below which actually tear up the concept of a neighborhood.

The only way to get better representation is to tag the population increase/decrease to the number of representatives. It stalled at 435 with the 1910 census I believe and can be undone with a simple up/down vote. Appropriations Act of 1929.

Instead of 700,000+ constituents to 1 rep, how about 100,000 to 1? Much much more manageable and plenty of people to run for office. Gerrymandering would be much less of a problem.

The problem is getting Congress to vote to decrease their power. Right, phat chance!

Unfortunately, President Trump can't do a thing about the number of representatives.

Increase the number.
