Everyone needs to check out the common core standards for Health class at each grade level to see what is mandated in the public schools, including kindergarten. It’s right on line.

That doesn’t mean at all that America as we knew it will be there. It won’t even be there for us as the rate of cultural rot accelerates.

At some point reality will get its revenge but not until things get much worse.

And you couldn't figure out how to have lesbian sex without a textbook? The two of you couldn't work out what felt good? I call BS. The first time may be awkward, but humans have been figuring out how to have all kinds of sex for thousands of years.

Basic "sex-ed" in terms of health and anatomy is one thing. But schools teaching minors all the details and how to pleasure themselves and all that kind of stuff is just perverse.

My main memory of my high school health class was that it was an easy A, which I needed to plump up my GPA for college applications.

How do we fight this? Are Texas schools truly controlled by conservatives? I wonder seeing some textbooks they have approved, etc. Please let me know who to call or write about this. I have heard that the “textbook committee” has approved all kinds of liberal garbage books and seeing some cooments in my local community I dont feel confident that conservatives do control Texas schools.

The teachers unions control Texas schools, so you need to contact your local state representative and see if he/she can help in any way...or even clarify the position.

I know mine, Rep Brooks Landgraf, is very accessible and easy to talk to and he has a Facebook page and a Twitter page where I can ask questions and get direct answers. I wish they were all that kind.

This tells me the text is either from Canada or written by a Canadian. An American would say/write “Peyton is in eighth grade” or “Peyton is an eighth grader”
