This is a great win for Texas and a big poke in the eye for California.

Only downside to the deal is the location near Austin aka the Communist Center of Texas.

On the other hand the addition of 5,000 workers could sway the politics in Travis County towards the right.

Probably not, Austin exists because of Music, BBQ and UT. It’s over the top leftism is because of Tech. that moved in 15-20 years ago. Tesla just piles on.

In 2016 Hillary won Travis County by almost a quarter million votes.

5000 is a drop in the bucket.

The smarter workers will live in Bastrop, Caldwell or Hays counties and stay away from Travis County.
