No,it’s not. It has to go for a compromise between House and Senate bills.

Yes, and that’s where the defunding of troop withdrawls will be inserted. Or maybe China Mitch is doing a beltway two step here: blocking language on troop withdrawal as an incentive for POTUS to sign the bill.

Pocket veto.

He has publicly said he would veto the bill if the clause was included. A pocket veto is kind of a wimpy way of doing it and he loses whatever political capitol he thinks he can get from this.

As expected Hawley is ducking on this one. I’ll put Hawley in RINO fraud column now.

President Abraham Lincoln proposed ending slavery by 1900:

And instead helped force through an amendment that ended slavery completely in December 1865.

“The House bill also voted to include a provision to change the names of military facilities named after generals who fought on the pro-slavery side during the Civil War 155 years ago.“

Both sides fought on the pro-slavery side 155 years ago.

Ball's in Trump's court now and that of Americans who have had enough of the Communist try to take over America...stand up and fight with President Trump! Enough of the Pelosi/Schumer antics that abuse our Constitution and destroy Law & Order on all levels.

Text I'm working on:

Are you just ignorant about the reasoning behind naming these bases or is it just in your nature to rollover and show your belly to every politically correct scam coming down the pike.

I'm trying to sound reasonable but so far it's not working.

So far, no bill has been enacted yet, let alone a veto power exercised, let alone the veto overridden. Yet you cheerfully declared “Goodbye Fort Bragg”.
Counting your chickens much?

No chicken counting here. This is bad. Bills get worse in conference. Not better.

We need the seat and we need Mitch. He knows how to get things done. Who the hell knows what any replacement will do.

Absolutely. McConnell is doing a great job “gettings things done” with another garbage bill. Which side are you on, anyway?

Another article on the subject....the Senate version is kinda of “wishy-washy” on the name changes:

“The House version forces the Army to remove such names within one year of the bill becoming law, while the Senate version would require the building of a commission to study the issue with the goal of stripping Confederate names within three years.”

https://www.stripes.com/news/us/senate-s-2021-defense-bill-passes-easily-sets-up-trump-veto-showdown-over-confederate-base-names-1.638627

Resolved in committee(s) over the next 3-4 months.

“It is Congress who has stolen our money and ruined our country. Time for a makeover”

Never give a damn dime to the RNC! Never.

Send anything you can for President Trump's reelection directly to his campaign.

If you max-out for President Trump and have money left over, pile it up in the front yard, soak it in gasoline and set it afire.

Because if you send money to the RNC you are just wasting it.

He does not have to sign it.

If he does not, then it becomes law after a while.

The Senate and Republican versions must got the reconciliation. Many wacky parts from the House version will likely be deleted.

No he doesn't. But he has said he would veto it if the clause is in there. Letting it go in without signing it is still caving.

Who knows? It's hard to say what part the Turtle has been given in the kabuki theater.
